   Brittany started her chicken journey as a commercial Broiler chicken Farm Manager of 250000 chickens a rotation. Yes you read that right, a quarter of a million a rotation and many rotations a year.  In those 3 years of her Farm in the Fraser Valley, she learnt so much. The perfect temperature from brooding chicks to the final day before processing. How to use modern systems for auto feeding, watering, ventilation etc. Now she has started her own farm in Prince George and can take all the knowledge and experience to grow and raise chickens in a more natural and sustainable way. The health and well being of her chickens is number one, her standards are quite high. Many people think the commercial growing is terrible conditions, however the average back yard growers conditions are way worse. As when you're in the commercial setting there are many rules and regulations to insure the chickens are living in the optimal conditions. Back yard growers are not audited or held to high standards, meaning they might not have the cleanest bedding or may slack in other areas. Which can lead to unhealthy or un happy chickens. 

   Brittany is here to take the commercial standards and knowledge to her "Backyard" flocks. Giving them green fields, dry comfortable coops, making her own chicken feed, building systems to make daily chores easier and quicker, all while sharing everything with all of you!
